Dr. Billy Kowalski

Dr. Billy Kowalski is a veterinarian that strives to create long lasting relationships with his patients and their families. He moved to Tampa in 2016 to be closer to his family after practicing in Las Vegas. He studied Animal Science and completed his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine at University of Missouri in 2014.

He credits his mentors Dr. James Nave and Dr. Randy Ezell for teaching him how to provide platinum level care and excellent bedside manner. Dr. James Evans is credited for teaching Dr. Kowalski precise surgical technique, case management, and for mentoring him in opening his own practice.

Dr. Billy accomplished a lifelong dream of owning his own practice when he opened Harbor Springs Vet in 2019. Harbor Springs Vet is a beautiful, state of the art practice with cutting-edge technology and techniques to provide the best care for every patient. His goal is to keep his patients happy and healthy throughout all of life’s stages.

He provides customized care individually tailored for each pet based on their needs and lifestyle. Dr. Billy believes in treating every patient as if it were his own pet, giving them the same loving attention, compassion, and care.

Outside of the office, Dr. Billy and his wife Suzie enjoy an active lifestyle with their sons, Henry and Hudson. Time away from the office includes lots of outdoor adventures, beach trips, and building Lego sets with the boys. The Kowalski family includes a few furry members as well: Bex the Golden Retriever, Kayce the Labrador Retriever, and Hazel the Calico cat.
